Maha Atma Choa Kok Sui: The Founder of Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga System

Maha Atma Choa Kok Sui was a spiritual master, an energy genius, and a philanthropist dedicated to uplifting humanity through subtle energy technology. Born in Cebu, Philippines, in 1952, he embraced yoga in his early teens.

He earned a degree in chemical engineering, becoming a successful businessman while persisting in his quest for spiritual enlightenment. His journey spanned diverse teachings from Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, Judaism, Kabbalah, to Islam. He delved into subtle energy’s science, known as prana, exploring its applications in healing, spirituality, and life.

Pranic Healing: The Science and Art of Energy Healing

Maha Atma Choa Kok Sui pioneered Modern Pranic Healing, utilizing prana (life force) to balance and transform the body’s energy processes. Founded on the principle of the body’s innate healing ability, Pranic Healing accelerates this process by manipulating prana. It’s accessible, effective, and applicable to physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness, also impacting relationships, finances, and environment.

Over 20 years, he developed Pranic Healing, substantiating its efficacy through numerous case studies and books like Miracles Through Pranic Healing and Advanced Pranic Healing. He established the Institute for Inner Studies and the World Pranic Healing Foundation, training healers and instructors in over 120 countries.

Arhatic Yoga: The Synthesis of All Yogas

Maha Atma Choa Kok Sui founded Arhatic Yoga, amalgamating all yogas to evolve the soul and attain union with the higher self and the divine. Not a religion, Arhatic Yoga is a universal spiritual path compatible with any belief system. Its pillars—purification, meditation, service, character building, and study—promote spiritual growth and the development of faculties like intuition and healing through chakra activation.

Derived from his spiritual realization and studies in Raja Yoga, Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, and others, he offered various courses and authored books like Achieving Oneness with the Higher Soul. The annual Arhatic Retreat gathers practitioners worldwide to share experiences and deepen practice.

A Mission of Compassion and Mercy

Beyond a spiritual guide, Maha Atma Choa Kok Sui was a humanitarian. He founded charitable organizations, including the MCKS Trust Fund for Charitable Services and the Planetary Peace Movement, supporting education, health, disaster relief, and interfaith harmony. His teachings inspired millions to serve and uplift humanity.

He passed away* in 2007, leaving a lasting legacy through his organizations, books, and disciples. Revered as an enlightened master and an avatar of compassion, his contributions to Pranic Healing, Arhatic Yoga, and humanitarian efforts endure, impacting lives globally.

Maha Atma Choa Kok Sui remains a beacon of spiritual enlightenment, healing, and compassion.

*Mahasamadhi

Mahasamadhi is the term used to describe the conscious exit of a yogi from their physical body at the time of death. It is considered the ultimate goal of spiritual seekers, as it means the end of the cycle of reincarnation and the liberation of the soul into the Absolute. Mahasamadhi is only possible for those who have attained the highest state of enlightenment, or nirvikalpa samadhi, in which they experience their true oneness and unity with God. To prepare for mahasamadhi, the yogi must practice and apply discipline in their spiritual endeavors until they reach nirvikalpa samadhi. Then they can gradually ready themselves through their practice of samadhi, or the state of equanimous intellect. Mahasamadhi is a unique and individual process for each yogi, and it is seen as a great honor and blessing
